Welcome to my Camp Hero, Montauk Point Project pages. There are loads of conspiracies surrounding the abandoned Air Force base, located at the eastern most tip of Long Island, New York, located in the USA. There are just as many stories that debunk the myths, some with some actual investigation. As a native Long Islander, it is natural for me to try and discover whether there is any basis to the myth or the debunking. I have uncovered various facts that support that the base is closed, as well as some rather startling facts that all is not what it may appear to be. I am doing this investigation with a friend of mine, and we are trying to be as unbiased and neutral in our approach as much as possible. That we plan to do a completely thorough investigation is our goal, I would personally like to come to my own conclusion on the matter. This will neccessarily involve several trips to the base, as it is quite extensive, and almost totally overgrown with the densest ground cover you can imagine. I have also begun an update page, to keep people advised as to just when we are planning our sojourns.
