Perhaps in the future human beings will develop the ability to control time with their minds. Imagine punching an opponent 1,100 times before he got a single swing off. This particular ability is also interesting because it leads to the road towards immortality. Can you believe going to the beach, spending 100 years there but in reality having only gone there for an hour. I know, it starts to get confusing and leads to more of a philosophical discussion rather than a scientific one. But one other thing is true, if we are to travel to the stars, then some type of chronokiesis is going to be necessary to do so. Who would want to travel to a distant world if it was going to take 300 years and only your descendents would survive to see the new planet.
I did some research on this subject, and surprisingly there is very little on the subject out there. One thing though seems to be universally true. It seems most people agree that meditation is the key to unlocking these abilities. My suggestion would be to practice self hypnosis, and then try and focus on your pulse or your heart beat. But this is untrodden land before us, so good luck. And me if you have any ideas I missed out on.

Chronokiesis. (Kro No kin ee sis) Chronokinesis, to put it simply, is the ability to manipulate time, or according to some sources just to manipulate the psychological perception of time. Both definitions are very interesting and are very exciting. Imagine what a spy could do with such an ability. If the agent needed to gain access to a structure, get a document and leave, all while being undetected, he would just need to make the inhabitants perceive time in a much slowed down version. If he could spend an hour on the property, but make the people inside only sense a second or two passing, well lets just say that it would give the definition of espionage a whole new meaning. The people on the inside would not notice anything, except perhaps for a quickly dissipating buzz or something. But why limit ourselves there. In fact, in terms of just kinetic energy weapons, the enemy would not stand a chance.
If you could make a rocket accelerate at 50 or 100 times what they are capable of doing now, the arms race would be over. Imagine a bullet penetrating the door of a safe, or a bunker. Just by decreasing the amount of time it takes to get from point a to point B.
In fact when I first started researching this particular type of ability, I was very skeptical to say the least. Indeed, I am still a bit skeptical of the human mind being able to do these fantastic things. But the theory of relativity says it is very possible to screw around with time. I am not going to get into a physics lesson here, but there are some basic tenets that are almost rock solid proof. Like the fact that as an object goes faster, the speed of time decreases around that object. But6 is there a way to control this mentally? Too be honest I just don't know. But as for changing the way I perceive time, then yes, I definitely believe that is possible. I have no doubt. Just like when you are out having a good time. Time seems to flow more quickly. Conversely when you are doing something you hate, or are just bored then time definitely seems to drag along.
