Another pretty sunset. I suppose it is all the pollution that make them so spectacular. I took this one about 3:45 PM. Alot of the colors are lost in the picture, but you still get an idea of how it looked. I like the contrasts though in the picture. Those are factories in the background, and if you ask me there is no uglier building than a factory. But even so, it cannot hide the sky. |

This is my street in the Winter. And even though it's still technically the Fall, you get a general sense of how things look. It had just started to snow when I took this picture, I suppose this is what a real blizzard on the Southern New Zealand island looks like... |

This is my street a few hours later, and you will notice several changes. This is a good snow fall, we got about 8 or 9 inches, and I am sure the good people of the Southern Island of New Zealand would consider this an enviornmental emergency. I look forward to the snow all year, last year we had hardly any, and quickly am reminded of how much I hate to shovel the stuff. It is murder on your lower back. But a satisfying chore nonetheless. Notice the dead Maple blends seemlessly into the enviornment now, however I find it apt that someone parked their car that probably has to be peddaled to go anywhere right next to it. |

No one loves the snow more than Spooky. And what better way to enjoy the snow than to run like a maniac through it. It really is funny watching her play, but the poor thing has no sense. She ran for about half an hour straight, and was too exhausted to move when she was done. Spooky has her own section on this site, and this picture will go there as well, but what can I say? She justs puts a smile on my face whenever I see her! |
