I am glad I do not swim in the ocean with these 30 foot long buggers! |
Whatever the name of this creature, you can tell it was made for power. I believe this was a mammal, now extinct, like a sloth or something. I wish I had remembered to bring a notepad with me! |
This is one of, if not the largest meteorite in the world. It has been there in that spot for as long as I can remember, as I spent alot of time in the museum as a child. I tried to chip a piece off for my rock collection, but I was unsuccessful. This is an iron meteorite. |
This is one of three moon rocks on display in the museum. Oh boy, how I would love to add one of these to my collection. I suppose before the discovery of the mars rock, these specimens were the rarest and most valuble rocks on the earth. |
