Swimming dinosaur
Museum Photographs
I am glad I do not swim in the ocean with these 30 foot long buggers!
mother in law ?
Whatever the name of this creature, you can tell it was made for power. I believe this was a mammal, now extinct, like a sloth or something. I wish I had remembered to bring a notepad with me!
Iron Meteorite
This is one of, if not the largest meteorite in the world. It has been there in that spot for as long as I can remember, as I spent alot of time in the museum as a child. I tried to chip a piece off for my rock collection, but I was unsuccessful. This is an iron meteorite.
Moon rock Kreep Basalt Sample 14305 Apollo 14 Mare Cognitum
This is one of three moon rocks on display in the museum. Oh boy, how I would love to add one of these to my collection. I suppose before the discovery of the mars rock, these specimens were the rarest and most valuble rocks on the earth.
